How to Take Screenshot of a Web Page in Google Chrome?

Learn to take a screenshot of a webpage in Google Chrome.

With Print Screen (Prt Scr) keyboard key, you can only take a screenshot of the screen and save it as an image, but this feature will not work for you when you want to take a screenshot of a total web page.

We have many Google Chrome extensions available for free to take a screenshot of a web page completely.

Now I'm going to show the way to take a screenshot of a web page in Google Chrome.

The extension I chose is called 'FireShot', highly rated extension and importantly it is easy to use.

Steps to Install and Use FireShot:

Step 1: Visit https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/extensions and search 'FireShot' in the search bar.

Step 2: Install the extension which has 'Capture Webpage Screenshot Entirely. FireShot' as title.

Step 3: After installing the extension, a small 'S' icon will added to chrome toolbar as you can see in below image. Click on it to use the web page capture options.

Step 4: Now its time to install 'Advanced FireShot' features. Click on 'Get Advanced Functions...' tab.

Step 5: A .exe file will be downloaded and click on it to install on your computer. After installing, FireShot extension will be updated with advanced features.

This FireShot extension is the best to grab screenshots of the web page in PNG or JPEG formats.

With advanced options installed, you can save the web page in PDF format, can be emailed directly from the extension and can be printed directly.

This extension is also available for Firefox browser, Opera browser and Internet Explorer.
